Jean Butler moved to The Villages from New Hampshire in May 2002 and lives in the Village of Glenbrook.  She is a graduate of Western State College of Colorado and was a High School Band Director and Music Educator for 15 years in Maine and New Hampshire.  She was Music Director of the Amherst Town Band in Amherst, New Hampshire for 16 years.  She has directed the pit orchestra for the Villages Musical Company productions of Damn Yankees, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Anything Goes,  A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Pajama Game and Mame.  When not directing, Jean enjoys playing French Horn in area bands.
