The Sunshine Strollers are adding new members to the band as more people move into The Villages. There are about 56 people who have participated in one or more parades over the past two years, with 38 in the last parade. We encourage members of the Concert Band to join us and/or tell any new resident musician to contact me if they are interested in strolling. Members must be Village residents, but it is not necessary that they be members of other Villages Bands. Following each parade we will be holding a mini concert on the sidewalk, where we will be playing 4 or 5 short numbers. This gives the crowd a chance to hear the entire repertoire from the parade, and also observe up close some of the outrageous costumes.
